Make It Happen in 2012!

1.   Procrastination gets the best of us. In 2012 I would like to not procrastinate so much. In order to change this I am going to have to stay on top of things, which includes checking my blogs every week and turning in assignments when they are do. I hope the outcome of this will help me pass my classes with better grades and raise my gpa.

2.   Coming to class on time and being late could hurt anyone while trying to have good grades. I would like to use my time better in school. In order to change not being late to classes everyday I will have to leave striaght form one class when the bell rings and go to another. The outcome of me not being late to class alot will also help me bring my grades up because I wont miss any of class to go get a tardy pass.

3.   Talking back is a bad thing any teenager has. I would like use my words whisley with my teachers. It would be easy to change this if I would do my work on time and not have to get mad when I have zero's.  I will get my work in on time and not procrastinate. The outcome of this will help me have a better relationship with my teachers and have better grades. I will get farther in life not being so rude.

Grinch or Santa?

Not being able to give holiday greetings during school is going against our freedom of speech and religion. If a student can not participate in the activities the classroom is doing there should be an alternate assignment and an alternate classroom for them to go to. Students not being able to give and receive presents from one another could be the only thing they would get for christmas. Some children never experience the holiday season and the most experience they would get is what they would get when they are at school. How are we suppose to teach our the next generation to be more appreciative of things when we cant teach them in school?

The Ideal Classroom

My ideal classroom would be to have the new 21st century learning styles. I will use technology with almost every lesson I teach, and I would like to use the couches and round tables instead of the desks. I want my students to be able to go to each other instead of always having to ask me. I want them to be able to look up things on the internet and research on their own starting in early childhood education.
